Nederlands Conservatorium van Amsterdam 阿姆斯特丹音乐学院 URL in the city of Amsterdam. The school was founded in 1882 as the "Amsterdam Municipal Conservatory" and is now part of the University of Amsterdam. It has around 350 students from about 40 countries， who are taught by 160 teachers and scholars. Academic programs include musicology， composition， conducting， violin， piano， voice， woodwinds， brass， percussion， harpsichord和organ. In addition to its regular faculty， the conservatoire employs a number of guest professors on a regular basis， including Jan Willem Jansen (flute)， Dora Schwarzberg（cello）， and Tom Krause(tuba). Its graduation concert series brings together student ensembles with internationally renowned soloists and orchestral musicians.
The conservators' library holds more than 75，000 books， scores and sound recordings. The school also maintains close ties with the Dutch National Opera and Ballet， the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and other institutions. A new building will be opened in September 2009.

Founded in 1886，the HvA provides education and artistic training at bachelor’s and master’s level in all branches of the performing arts；dance， theatre， opera and musical theatre. Every year eighty young artists begin their studies here， coming from all over the world. They can choose between various specializations according to their individual ambitions and talents. All teaching at the HvA is in English.
The international curriculum covers theory， practica and performance work in all disciplines. Students can specialize in one of several areas：dramaturgy and directing；music；or speech and drama. There are also options for individual courses of study and double degrees which allow for cross disciplinary work and collaborations between departments.
